Jacques Tonder

Mr van Tonder joined Rio Tinto more than 20 years ago and has held senior operational management roles at Palabora, Robe Valley, Cape Lambert Operations, Hope Downs 4 and Argyle. Mr van Tonder has been a senior leader in the Rio Tinto Group Technical functional team since 2017 and has been instrumental in the Asset Management global transformation programme as head of the Asset Management Centre of Excellence. Mr van Tonder is a member of the Rehabilitation Committee.
