James III

Mr Walker (III) re-joined Black Diamond Capital Management in 2023, a firm he co-founded in 1996, and serves as President and Senior Managing Director. Previously, he was Managing Partner at Fir Tree Partners and was a member of the firm's Real Estate Investment Committee and Chairman of its Risk Committee. He began his career in investment banking at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Bear Stearns. He currently serves as Lead Independent Director of Starwood Real Estate Trust and a Board Member of Consumer Portfolio Services.
