Mr Cooper has had a 40-year career in the finance and accounting profession. He has held several senior tax and finance roles, including Partner at Ernst & Young, Partner / Business Unit Leader, Tax Practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Managing Partner for Arthur Andersen in Perth (for just over 10 years), during which time he specialised in the mining, energy, and utility sectors. Throughout his career, Mr Cooper has was involved in community activities, including serving as Commissioner and Chair of the West Australian Football Commission and as a Member of the State Health Research Advisory Council (Western Australia). He is also Chair of Risk Committee.
