David Richards

Mr Richards is a geologist with over 40 years' experience in mineral exploration in Australia, Southeast Asia and eastern Africa. His career includes exploration and resource definition for a variety of deposit styles and commodities, including gold, copper and battery metals. He led the team at Liontown Limited that discovered the Kathleen Valley lithium deposit in Western Australia and high grade Vera Nancy gold deposits in North Queensland. He has held senior positions in his career, including Battle Mountain Australia Inc, Delta Gold Limited and AurionGold Limited and was Managing Director of ASX listed Glengarry Resources Limited from 2003 to 2009 and Liontown Limited from 2010 to 2021. He formerly held Managing Director and Executive Director positions at Minerals 260 between 2021 and 2023, before moving to his current Non Executive Director role. He is the chair of Technical Committee.
