Daniel Tillett

Dr Tillett is the CEO and founder of Nucleics Pty Ltd, a private Australian biotechnology company producing and selling DNA sequencing software to the genomics industry. Nucleics SAAS (software as a service) genomics tools are used in more than 30 countries and at over 250 companies and research institutions. Dr Tillett was previously an Executive Director and Chief Scientific Officer at Race from 17 September 2019 and 1 October 2019, respectively and resigned from both roles on 21 March 2023. Dr Tillett was a Senior Lecturer within the School of Pharmacy at La Trobe University where he taught and researched in the areas of pharmacy, phage therapy, virology, microbiology, bioinformatics and cancer. He has more than 40 scientific publications and granted patents in molecular biology, virology, microbiology, genetics and biochemistry.
