Ms Carnabuci has almost 40 years of experience as an independent non-executive director of, boards of listed and privately owned companies in Australia and Asia. She brings board and C-suite insights on the practical execution of business strategies involving global technology and intellectual property businesses, particularly in the context of M&A, commercial transactions and risk management. Prior to her role at the ABC, Connie was a Senior Partner with the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She was based in Hong Kong for 15 years and led the firm's TMT/IP practice in Asia. She also served as Co-head of the firm's global technology practice. She began her career in Sydney at Mallesons Stephen Jacques (now Mallesons) and was a partner there from 1997 to 2000. She is a member of the People, Culture Committee.
