Ms Carnabuci has 35 years' experience as a senior legal advisor to, and as an independent non executive director of, boards of listed and privately owned companies in Australia and Asia. She brings board and C suite insights on the practical execution of business strategies involving global technology and intellectual property intensive businesses, particularly in the context of M&A, complex commercial transactions and risk management. Connie was General Counsel of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) from July 2017 to July 2021, where she was part of the team leading the digital transformation of the ABC. Prior to her role at the ABC, Connie was a Senior Partner with the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She was based in Hong Kong for 15 years and led the firm's TMT/IP practice in Asia. She also served as Co head of the firm's global technology practice. She began her career in Sydney at Mallesons Stephen Jacques (now King & Wood Mallesons) and was a partner there from 1997 to 2000.
