Mr. Demby most recently served as President of Cree LED, a Smart Global Holdings, Inc. company that develops application-optimized LED chips and components, from 2020 to 2022. Prior to Smart Global Holdings acquiring Cree LED, from 2014 to 2020, Mr. Demby held various positions at Cree LED, including as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Cree LED business, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, and Senior Vice President of the Semi-Conductor Materials business. Mr. Demby served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of the Noel Group, LLC, a global manufacturer of synthetic foam materials, from 2008 to 2014, and served on the board of directors of the Noel Group from 2001 to 2008. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Demby was President and Chief Operating Officer of L&L Products Inc., a global manufacturer of noise, vibration, and harshness solutions and structural devices for the automotive and aerospace sectors. Mr. Demby began his career in engineering roles with Procter & Gamble Company and GE Plastics and was focused on the chemical processing and manufacturing of consumer and industrial products.
