Dr Letton has more than 35 years of international mining experience spanning the Americas, Australia, Asia, Europe and Africa. Throughout her career, Dr Letton has held senior leadership roles spanning mining operations, business improvement and development, operational optimisation and sustainable mining with experience in strategic direction setting. She brings technical experience in both open pit and underground mining operations, with experience in multiple commodities and at all stages of the asset development lifecycle. Dr Letton previously held senior executive positions with Anglo American, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Newmont, Newcrest Mining and Kimberley Diamonds. At Anglo American she was responsible for resource development planning and long-term asset strategy across the Group's global portfolio. She has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Gold Fields Limited, Endeavour Mining Corporation, Technology Metals Australia, Magnetite Mines and CanaGold Resources.
