Carmel Hourigan

Ms Hourigan has 30 years of experience in the real estate investment industry, spanning key senior leadership positions and roles in funds management across public and private markets, investment, research and advisory services. Her previous roles include the Global Head of Real Estate at AMP Capital, CIO at GPT Group and Head of Investment Management at Lendlease. In October 2024, she was announced as the new National President for the Property Council of Australia, after serving in various director roles, including Vice President over the past 9 years. She currently serves as a member of the Property Champions of Change group and is also a former Trustee Board member and Deputy Chancellor of Western Sydney University.
