Mr James has over 30 years of finance experience and is currently Chief Executive Officer of Aquasia Pty Limited. Prior to establishing Aquasia in 2009, Mr James was the Chief Executive of ABN AMRO Australia and New Zealand and a member of its Asian management team. Mr James was also previously the Chair of Australian Schools Plus, a Non-Executive Director of the Business Council of Australia, the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority, Deputy Chair of the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Non-Executive Director of Stile Education Pty Limited (ceased July 2025).
