Mr Strickland is senior executive with experience in project development and management across a diverse range of commodities including base metals, precious metals, industrial minerals and iron ore, in Australia and in international jurisdictions. Mr Strickland was previously part of the executive leadership team at Blackstone Minerals Ltd, a substantial shareholder in Corazon, where he was responsible for project development, mergers and acquisitions and partnership development. Through this role he developed relationships throughout the battery metals supply chain sector in Australia, Canada and Southeast Asia.
