Alistair Currie

Mr Currie has international banking experience, having held roles in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Asia and the Middle East. He has over 30 years of banking experience in the institutional, corporate, mid-corporate and consumer client segments, transaction banking, trade finance, as well as technology and operations. Alistair was the Group Chief Operating Officer at Barclays PLC, retiring from that role on 30 June 2025. He has previously served in senior roles at ANZ Banking Group Limited and HSBC, where he held a variety of international banking roles.
