Mr Hitchcock was the Chief Technology and Operations Officer for Pearson, the world's leading learning company from March 2014 until January 2022. In this role Albert led Digital product development, Information technology, Operations encompassing Supply chain, Procurement, Customer service, Real Estate and shared services across Finance, HR and Technology. Albert spent a 28-year career in the technology industry working for BAE systems, Racal Electronics and Nortel Networks. In January 2007 Albert joined Vodafone and was appointed into the role of Vodafone Group Chief Information Officer. Albert is currently a Non-Executive Director of Nationwide Building Society.
