Black Cat announces new targets and growth from discovery drilling

Black Cat Syndicate (ASX: BC8) has provided an update on the company’s exploratory drilling as part of the Kal East Gold Project. The project contains 756 km2 of tenements to the east of Kalgoorlie, WA. 

Managing Director Gareth Solly commented:

“As the results continue to roll in from the labs, it is great to see our discovery targets delivering success. The Kal East Gold Project has a substantial pipeline of early stage targets that have either been underexplored or overlooked in the past. These targets will be systematically explored and have the potential to add significant ounces to our Resource base.”

Cauldron Energy to resume underground drilling before Christmas

After covid-related delays, Cauldron Energy (ASX: CXU) are set to recommend drilling at the company’s Blackwood gold project on 23rd December. The company intends to drill five holes to target an area adjacent to the Annie Laurie Reef, last mined during the 1860-90s. 

Executive Chair Simon Youds commented: “It has been a very frustrating period for the team at Blackwood – having such high potential targets but being unable to drill them due to covid travel restrictions and access limitations. Now that both issues are in hand, we can finally resume the exciting task of testing what we perceive to be a previously unrecognised section of the Eastern Reef system.”

Horizon Gold announces shallow high grade gold intercepts at Orion and Wahoo prospects

Horizon Gold Limited (ASX: HRN) have announced additional shallow high grade gold results from the recent RC drilling at the company’s 100% owned Gum Creek Gold Project located in Western Australia.

Managing Director Leigh Ryan said:

“The recent shallow high grade RC results from the Orion and Wahoo prospects are very impressive and once again confirm the extensive untested resource potential of the Gum Creek Project. We’re well advanced in our metallurgical sampling and testwork, resource modelling at several of our recently drilled prospects is underway, and we look forward to receiving further impressive gold intercepts from RC drilling at our other northern target areas.”

Vimy Resources provides update on Mulga Rock Uranium Project

Vimy Resources (ASX: VMY) has today shared an operational update on the Mulga Rock Uranium project. The project has reached several milestones, including the commencement of mining activities, the approval of the company’s radiation management plan, and the beginning of an on-site water pipeline. 

Executive Director and CEO Steven Michael commented:

“Commencing the starter pit at Ambassador North is another proud moment for the team and a milestone in the development of Western Australia’s first uranium mine.”

Australian Vanadium announces production of high-purity Vanadium oxide

Australian Vanadium (ASX: AVL) has produced high-purity 99.5% Vanadium oxide (V2O5) marketing samples in the final stage of metallurgical testing for the company’s bankable feasibility study.

Managing Director, Vincent Algar commented:

“AVL differentiates itself from its peers by demonstrating a detailed technical understanding of the proposed processes we intend to build. The ability to produce V2O5 at this purity opens markets for AVL’s vanadium in both critical minerals and battery minerals markets.”
