Company Deep Dive

R3D Resources is fully funded to kick off exploration and development activities, at its flagship project, the Tartana Copper Gold Project 40 km north of Chillagoe.

Tartana has a large porphyry copper exploration target which has been defined by an IP geophysical survey and supported by sporadic historical drilling intersecting copper mineralisation.

Independent Geological Group SRK has an estimated open pit exploration target of 1.2 Mt at 0.6% Cu for 64,000 tonnes to 47.0 million tonnes at 0.8% Cu for 376,000 tonnes of contained copper on the Tartana mining leases.

Why Invest in R3D?

The IPO was oversubscribed, with huge interest from investors.

The copper price is running hot, up 21% since the start of the year, and one of the most crucial commodities as the world increases the push to decarbonise.

Exposure to high-quality copper and gold assets that have been sitting in private hands for the last 30 years.

Tartana already has existing plant, heap leach pads and accommodation facilities from its historical Copper Sulphate operation.

This puts R3D in a unique position, as it can quickly restart remnant mining to generate short term cashflow, which will be used to supplement exploration activities.

Independent consultant SRK has estimated a JORC 2012 complaint exploration target for the Copper Sulphide Project (including the Valentino prospect) ranging between:

Tartana Copper Sulphate Plant, Queensland

The Tartana already has existing plant, heap leach pads and accommodation facilities from its historical copper sulphate operations. The previous owners produced, high quality copper sulphate for more than a decade, with the end customers being to the mining operations and the stock feed industry.

R3D, has a strategy of restarting operations quickly, to supplement cashflows while kicking off exploration activities at its high priority targets.

The Queen Grade Zinc Project, Queensland

The Queen Grade Zinc Project covers a separate zone of zinc-rich skarn mineralization which outcrops as gossanous material on a chert dominated ridge north of the Tartana open pit. Although, not to JORC 2012 standards, the company reports impressive historical results returning:

  • 33m @ 12.5% Zinc

  • 60m @ 3.7% Zinc (including 14 m @ 7.7% Zinc)

The company is planning exploration activities to test these targets.
