R3D Resources is fully funded to kick off exploration and development activities, at its flagship project, the Tartana Copper Gold Project 40 km north of Chillagoe.
Tartana has a large porphyry copper exploration target which has been defined by an IP geophysical survey and supported by sporadic historical drilling intersecting copper mineralisation.
Independent Geological Group SRK has an estimated open pit exploration target of 1.2 Mt at 0.6% Cu for 64,000 tonnes to 47.0 million tonnes at 0.8% Cu for 376,000 tonnes of contained copper on the Tartana mining leases.
The IPO was oversubscribed, with huge interest from investors.
The copper price is running hot, up 21% since the start of the year, and one of the most crucial commodities as the world increases the push to decarbonise.
Exposure to high-quality copper and gold assets that have been sitting in private hands for the last 30 years.
Tartana already has existing plant, heap leach pads and accommodation facilities from its historical Copper Sulphate operation.
This puts R3D in a unique position, as it can quickly restart remnant mining to generate short term cashflow, which will be used to supplement exploration activities.
