Bristol Springs Solar Project

Project Overview

The Bristol Spring Solar Project (BSS Project) is strategically located in the heart of the South-West of Western Australia, one of the fastest-growing regional areas in Australia with world-class supporting infrastructure.

The BSS Project is designed to initially produce 105 MW of electricity, utilizing well-established technology to deliver a relatively low-cost energy solution connected to the backbone of the southwest Interconnected System (SWIS) in WA.

Conceptual design work and preliminary engineering estimates for the BSS Project were undertaken and completed during 2019/2020.

Development application approval has been granted and an electricity connection application is in progress with Western Power. Additional land acquisition opportunities are available to allow for an increase in solar power generation up to ~300 MW.
